My name is Elena, I am a PhD student in theoretical physics who takes great pleasure in eating. My scientific (de)formation makes me wonder what is exactly going on when we cook. By understanding those better, I hope to improve a bit my cooking skills and enjoy eating even more. My intention is that this blog will be a good place to put my (amateur) thoughts and findings in order and learn from tips and suggestions of readers that might be interested in the same topic. Being Spanish, English is not my first language so please forgive me if I unintentionally kick the dictionary now and again :).
